SPIKE X Jigging spinning rods are designed for freshwater perch and zander fishing. Their lightweight, responsive carbon blanks with NANO TECHNOLOGY and Extra Fast action support direct lure control and bite detection. The range was developed and tested by European perch and zander anglers.
The 802 models measure 2.44 m and come in 12–28 g (Medium) and 14–40 g (Medium Heavy). The 802 12–28 g is specifically described for light jigging with softbaits and weighs 146 g. The 802 14–40 g weighs 167 g and has a 30T Carbon + Nano Technology blank and nine guides including the tip. The 902 models measure 2.74 m and offer 12–28 g (Medium), 14–40 g (Medium Heavy), 20–60 g (Heavy) and 24–80 g (Heavy Plus). Select by your lure weight, with the higher-rated versions accommodating heavier presentations. The longer models provide more reach but need more transport space.
Abu Garcia reel seats with blank-touch design allow direct finger contact with the blank. High-density EVA split grips provide a firm holding surface. Lightweight Seaguide XOG stainless steel anti-tangle guides help reduce line tangles while casting. All models are green.
All six rods have two sections. The 2.44 m versions pack down to 127 cm, while the 2.74 m versions require 142 cm. The 802 14–40 g is supplied in a cloth bag and has an Abu Garcia RS reel seat.
