The Fox RX+ Micron Head is a feature-packed electronic bite alarm designed for serious carp fishing, offering precise sensitivity control, wireless capability, and weatherproof construction.
At the heart of the RX+ Micron Head is the D-Tec Plus Sensing System (DTSS) with intelligent see-saw elimination. Eight sensitivity levels allow fine-tuning to match conditions – from 90 mm line travel at the lowest setting down to just 5.6 mm at the highest. Within each level, the sensor resets if line movement reverses within two seconds, effectively filtering out false alarms caused by wind or water movement.
Twin multi-colour LEDs offer six colour options: red, green, blue, orange, purple, and white. An on/off toggle switch provides two operational modes. In night mode, both LEDs glow subtly in the chosen colour, giving visual bite indication without flooding the swim with light.
A high-quality cone speaker delivers clear audio alerts. Eight indexed volume levels range from completely silent up to full volume, while eight tone settings let you assign a distinct pitch to each rod for easy identification.
The weatherproof sealed case houses digital circuitry and a CNC-machined Tru-Run roller wheel for smooth, consistent line tracking. A rigid 3/8" stainless steel thread fits standard banksticks, rod pods, and buzzer bars. Rod-friendly rubber inlays protect the rod blank from scratches.
A 2.5 mm power-out socket supports illuminated swingers, and the built-in range test function lets you verify that the RX+ Receiver is picking up the signal at any distance. A low-battery warning changes the LED colour to cyan when it is time to replace the two AA batteries (not included). Two compression washer options (rigid and soft, plus a spare) are supplied.
The RX+ Micron Head is designed to work with the separately available RX+ Receiver. Presentation sets for 2-rod, 3-rod, and 4-rod setups are also available separately.
