The Berkley PowerBait Nessie is a soft-bodied glide bait that combines an accessible design with advanced glide bait technique, opening the door for beginners while offering experienced anglers new possibilities.
The Nessie features a soft-bodied construction infused with Berkley's proven PowerBait scent formula. The flexible body produces a natural gliding action that triggers strikes from pike, zander and perch. A mesh-reinforced joint provides durability while allowing a free range of motion for lifelike swimming behaviour.
Built-in stabilising fins ensure the Nessie tracks true on every retrieve. Whether you skip it under overhanging cover, slide it along weed edges or cast it into open water, the bait maintains a consistent, slow-sinking action.
Each Nessie comes pre-rigged with sticky-sharp Fusion19 treble hooks. A patent-pending hook retention clip keeps the treble hook secured to the body during the cast and retrieve. The 12 cm version carries a single size-5 treble hook, the 17 cm a single size-1 treble, and the 22 cm version features two trebles (front 1/0, back 1).
Available in forage-matching colour patterns including Albino, Gold Shad, Green Pumpkin, Perch, Roach and Firetiger. Each finish is individually painted to imitate local prey fish.
