Berkley PowerBait® Nessie is a slow-sinking soft swimbait for freshwater predator fishing, including pike. Its soft glide bait design offers casting, skipping and sliding presentations for both newcomers and experienced glide bait anglers, reaching places that are difficult to access with traditional glide baits.
The mesh-reinforced joint combines durability with freedom of movement. Stabilising fins keep the action consistent, while the soft body features PowerBait® flavour. The design is by Mike Iaconelli, with custom-painted finishes that imitate forage fish.
Sharp Fusion19™ treble hooks come fitted. A retention clip holds the treble against the body. The 12 cm version has one size 5 hook, the 17 cm version one size 1 hook, and the 22 cm version two hooks, size 1/0 at the front and size 1 at the back. Each pack contains one lure in the selected size and colour.
The 12 cm / 11 g version is the smallest and lightest presentation. At 17 cm / 28 g, the middle size offers a larger profile without the weight of the 22 cm / 57 g version. Choose the largest version for the largest profile, matching your tackle to its higher lure weight. All three sizes sink slowly.
Each size comes in Albino, Firetiger, Gold Shad, Green Pumpkin, Perch, Roach, Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char. Choose the finish separately from size and weight.
