The Cat Ball is Black Cat's dedicated vertical head for building quiet, tangle-free vertical rigs (vertical fishing from the boat) when targeting big catfish.
A heavy lead core is fully wrapped in a sound-dampening rubber coating. The round body with a flattened underside settles softly on the bottom, so the bait arrives without alarming fish holding near structure.
Two stainless eyes protrude at a 90° angle — one for the main line, one for the bait. The arrangement keeps the rig extended, speeds up baiting and prevents tangles even when repositioning directly above the fish.
The non-reflective black rubber keeps the head inconspicuous in deep or stained water, making it a strong choice for cautious big-fish situations.
