It is intended for balancing floats on pole-fishing and trout rigs. The six individual shot weights let you adjust the loading to suit your float rather than relying on one fixed weight.
The assortment contains 0.2 g, 0.25 g, 0.3 g, 0.4 g, 0.6 g and 1.0 g shot. The 70 g figure is the total contents, so select individual shot according to the loading your float requires.
Use the dispenser's rotary mechanism to take out the shot, then clamp it onto the fishing line through its central split. This lets you add the selected weights directly to your float rig.
