Barra Jerk 17.5CM 29G S PinkbellySardine
incl. VAT, excl.
Baby barracudas are irresistible prey for snappers, bluefish, amberjacks, leerfish, groupers — and even larger, cannibalistic barracudas. The Savage Gear Barra Jerk mimics that silhouette with precision, and in the sinking version at 17.5 cm and 29 g it drops straight into the feeding window every cast.
A sophisticated weight transfer system combining tungsten steel balls with fixed weights at key positions delivers long, stable casts even into a headwind. A magnetic ball holder locks the weights in place during the retrieve, so the lure snaps straight back into action — no tumbling, no lost distance.
The new pentagon lip generates a strong, flashy, and lifelike swimming action whether you twitch with a high rod, jerk with a low rod, or burn it back at speed. At every pause the lure holds a natural, suspended position — a deadly trigger for following predators. The reinforced body shrugs off the teeth of barracuda, bluefish, and anything else that decides to eat it.
The Barra Jerk family spans three lengths and three buoyancy ratings, so you can match the size and sink rate to the conditions and target species:
Barra Jerk 17.5 cm 29 g Sinking — Pink Belly Sardine (this product): compact sinking model; 3 treble hooks (#4); running depth 0.6–1.2 m; ideal for snappers, groupers, barracuda and leerfish over structured saltwater ground; pink belly sardine coloration for bright or clear-water conditions
Barra Jerk 17.5 cm 25 g Floating: shallower running (0.5–1 m); treble hook (#4) rigs; suits calmer surface-feeding situations; available in Sardine, Bloody Pearl, Barracuda, Gold Anchovy, Sayoris, Pennywise
Barra Jerk 17.5 cm 29 g Sinking (other colours): same weight and depth as this product; choose Phantom Barracuda, Joker Barra, Pink Barracuda, Blue Mackerel, Green Barracuda for different light and water clarity conditions
Barra Jerk 19 cm 25 g Floating: larger profile, lighter weight; 0.6–1.2 m depth; treble hooks (#4); good for bigger snappers and amberjacks when fish are chasing near the surface
Barra Jerk 19 cm 29 g Sinking: same weight class stepped up in size; 0.7–1.4 m depth; targets larger barracuda, amberjacks and GT in the mid-column
Barra Jerk 21 cm 34 g Floating: biggest floating option; 0.6–1.2 m; single hook (#2); maximises profile for trophy-class predators
