The mat can be shaped into a protective cradle with raised sides that hold the fish securely in place, minimising movement and stress during unhooking and photography.
Carrying handles at all four corners make short-distance transport easy, while a removable and adjustable shoulder strap can be attached to any of the four anchor points for hands-free carrying across longer distances. The mat folds in half at the centre and can be secured with the shoulder straps for compact, hassle-free storage between sessions. A fish-friendly camouflage mesh cover with Velcro fixings adds an extra layer of protection and stays neatly in place.
