Near-Invisible in Water

Fluorocarbon's refractive index is close to that of water, making this 0.30 mm line exceptionally hard for fish to detect. In gin-clear lakes, gravel-pit waters or pressured rivers, switching to a fluorocarbon leader of several metres can make the difference when targeting wary perch, pike or zander.

Knotable and Crimpable

The Predax Fluorocarbon handles well whether you prefer tying knots or using crimp sleeves. When crimping, use the flat jaws at the tip of your crimping pliers rather than the serrated side — this preserves the line's surface and maintains full breaking strain at the connection point. At 6.3 kg breaking strain, it covers a wide range of predator rigs and trace setups.
