The FTM Omura tungsten (a dense, high-gravity metal) beads are purpose-built components for tying your own ultra light jig heads — giving trout spin anglers full control over weight, hook choice, and presentation.
Tungsten is significantly denser than lead, meaning these beads deliver the weight you need in a smaller, more streamlined package. The result is a jig head that sinks quickly and cuts through current without unnecessary bulk — an advantage when targeting trout in clear, pressured water.
The round hole is sized to slide cleanly onto a wide range of trout hooks. Once positioned, the bead bonds securely with standard adhesive, keeping everything locked in place during aggressive strikes. No specialist tools required — just thread, position, and glue.
The Omura range covers four sizes, each suited to different hook sizes, lure weights, and fishing depths. Choose a smaller bead for finesse presentations on light gear, or step up for deeper water and larger soft plastics.
