Fox Rage Hitcher Crank & Troll Wobbler
incl. VAT, excl.
The Hitcher Crank & Troll is a freshwater crankbait built around the unmistakable profile of a perch — a natural forage fish that big predators simply can't resist. Cast it, crank it, or troll it: this lure earns its keep across a wide range of predator fishing situations.
Unlike many crankbaits modelled on sea fish or exotic species, the Hitcher was designed around native European fish. Its high-backed, compact body shape closely mimics a perch — the number-one prey fish for pike in most freshwater systems. That lifelike silhouette gives predators exactly the visual cue they're looking for.
At a steady retrieve or under constant trolling pressure, the Hitcher rolls with a subtle side-to-side wobble. Steel balls in the body produce a deep, low-frequency thud rather than a high-pitched rattle — a vibration signature that large, cautious predators respond to especially well. The long bill drives the lure down quickly and keeps it tracking true even at varied retrieve speeds.
The Hitcher Crank & Troll is available in three sizes. Each uses a long bill for deep diving, except the 12 cm model which carries a short bill for shallower presentations.
6.5 cm / 9 g — Long bill: max. 1.4 m depth casting, max. 2 m trolling. Ideal for perch and zander in shallower zones, or as a finesse option for pike.
10 cm / 35 g — Long bill: max. 1.8 m depth casting, max. 3.4 m trolling. Versatile all-round size for pike, zander, and larger perch; well-suited to deeper open water when trolling.
12 cm / 55 g — Short bill: max. 1.4 m depth casting, max. 2.4 m trolling. Bulky profile for trophy pike, catfish, and big zander over shallow to mid-depth flats.
