With a 90 cm main trace in 0.70 mm monofilament and two hook snoods in 0.45 mm line, this rig is robust enough to handle strong tidal currents and abrasive sandy or stony surf bottoms. The heavier main trace resists tangles and leader damage, while the finer snoods present baits naturally.

Attractors That Make a Difference

Each of the two size 1 worm hooks is complemented by attractor beads and a spinner blade, adding flash and vibration to draw fish in low-visibility surf water. This combination is particularly effective when fishing ragworms or lugworms for flatfish such as flounder and plaice, as well as coastal cod.
