Machined aluminium gears run through Abu Garcia's AMGearing system with computer-optimised gear design, delivering a noticeably smooth retrieve at 84 cm per turn (6.2:1 ratio). Eleven bearings — ten stainless steel ball bearings plus one roller bearing — keep everything fluid and corrosion-resistant.
