The pliers feature two separate jaws to cover the full range of common crimp sleeves. The smaller opening handles single sleeves with an inner diameter of 0.6 mm to 1.4 mm, while the larger opening is designed for sleeves from 1.6 mm to 2.0 mm inner diameter — and works equally well for double crimp sleeves.

5-Point Jaw Design for a Solid Crimp

With five pressure points across a 1 cm wide crimping head, the tool distributes force evenly around the sleeve, producing a firm, uniform connection every time. This is especially valuable when building fluorocarbon or wire leaders where a weak crimp can mean a lost fish.
