A continuous self-renewing silicon coating bonds with the nylon core at a molecular level, dramatically increasing load capacity relative to diameter. The result is a 0.40 mm line rated at 15.9 kg — exceptional for its class — while twist is kept to an absolute minimum and overstretch before breakage is noticeably delayed, protecting both your terminal tackle and your catch.
The surface seal doesn't just boost strength; it shields the line against gravel, rocks, snags, and other underwater obstacles.
