W6 CRANKSTICK 2ND 7'10"/239CM M 5-40G 2SEC
incl. VAT, excl.
Built specifically for crankbait fishing, the Westin W6 Crankstick 2nd Generation spinning rod combines a high-performance carbon blank with an intuitive handle system that keeps you connected to every dive and wobble of your lure — rod length 2.39 m, casting weight 5–40 g, rod weight just 120 g.
The blank is constructed from 40T+T1100 Torayca® (a high-performance carbon fibre developed by Toray Industries) — a dual-weave carbon composition that delivers exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. At just 120 g, the rod transmits the subtle vibrations of a running crankbait directly to your hand, so you feel every depth change, deflection and strike without fatigue over long sessions.
Westin's 3C Carbon Handle — Close Contact Carbon — is built entirely from carbon, eliminating the dampening effect of conventional EVA or cork grips. The result is a direct tactile connection to your crankbait that sharpens bite detection and gives you precise control when steering deep-running lures past structure. The Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat and Fuji SiC (Silicon Carbide) guides complete a component package that minimises friction and maximises feel.
The W6 Crankstick 2nd Generation is currently available in a single variant configuration. Select based on your target species and the crankbaits you favour:
W6 Crankstick 2nd 7'10" / 239 cm M 5–40 g 2-sec — Medium action, ideal for big perch and zander with deeper-running crankbaits that generate extra water resistance; the 5–40 g range covers mid-size to larger hard baits; the 2-piece build (transport length 123 cm) suits anglers who travel to their marks.
