Spro Mefo 3.00m 10-35g - Meerforellenrute
incl. VAT, excl.
The Spro Mefo (Meerforellen, sea trout) 3.00m 10-35g is a dedicated shore rod built for casting light metal lures across open coastal stretches and presenting them with confidence at distance.
The full parabolic blank loads progressively, allowing lures from 10 to 35 g to travel far without losing control. Thin braids and lighter spinners stay firmly in play: the rod's forgiving tip absorbs sudden runs while the backbone carries enough reserve to steer strong fish away from structure. Drift fishing along a coastline becomes noticeably more controlled, since the blank cushions the pressure rather than transferring every surge directly to the hook hold.
Double-leg guides reduce line slap on long casts and remain stable under the corrosive demands of saltwater sessions. The reinforced grip section keeps your hand planted during power casts and provides a secure fulcrum when a big sea trout turns at close range. At 163 g over 3.00 m, the rod stays light enough for active shore-searching without fatiguing the wrist.
The Spro Mefo range is focused on coastal sea-trout fishing. At present, a single model is available:
