Its fast action blank, made from high-modulus carbon, loads and responds efficiently, giving you the sensitivity to detect bites and the power to keep fish away from snags. The softer tip section also makes it compatible with braided mainline, adding versatility to your presentation.

Two Quivertips Included — Ready for Changing Conditions

Cresta supplies the Protocol Medium with two interchangeable carbon quivertips: a 1.0oz and a 1.5oz. Switch between them to match flow rate and casting weight, or to fine-tune bite indication. These tips are cross-compatible across the full Protocol range, so they double as useful spares or upgrades. The rod is built in 3+2 sections with a cork and EVA handle and long-leg rings for stable line flow.
