The Balzer Edition Sea Nachläufersystem (trailer rig) 1 is a pre-tied surf fishing rig built for immediate use from the beach or pier — no knot-tying required before you cast.
The rig features a 200 cm leader line with a 0.60 mm diameter, paired with a 0.40 mm mouth line. Both lines are tied using Japanese monofilament, selected for its knot strength and consistency under the demanding conditions of surf fishing. The two size 1 hooks are well-suited to natural baits commonly used for flatfish and cod.
Coloured attractor beads and two spinner blades are integrated directly into the rig. These elements reflect light and create movement in the current, providing additional visual stimulation that can draw in predatory fish — a clear advantage when fishing murky or sandy-bottomed surf zones.
