The Cresta Elasticated Method Feeder is a purpose-built basket feeder for method feeder fishing on rivers and stillwaters, fitted with a transparent 2.2mm heavy-duty elastic for a fast, reliable connection system.
Unlike standard method feeders, this basket features a pre-threaded transparent 2.2mm heavy-duty elastic band running through the feeder. The elastic absorbs shock on the strike and keeps your rig presentation consistent cast after cast — a real advantage when fishing at range or in flowing water.
The elastic terminates in two rings, each serving a distinct purpose. The small ring clips directly into a Cresta Easy Change Tube for a tool-free connection to the mainline, while the large ring provides a secure attachment point for your coarse fishing hooklength. This split-ring system keeps rig changes fast and tangle-free on the bank.
This feeder is available in a range of weights to match different casting distances, swim depths, and flow speeds. Select a lighter feeder for close-range stillwater sessions targeting bream and tench, or step up in weight for rivers with moderate current or when fishing for barbel and carp at distance. Matching feeder weight to conditions keeps feed delivery accurate and bite indication sharp.
