The Spro Freestyle Dropnet XTRA is a drop net (lowering net) purpose-built for spin fishing from bridges, harbours, and sheet-pile walls — giving you a reliable, fish-friendly way to land pike, perch, and zander from otherwise unreachable spots.

With 7 metres of integrated rope, you can lower the net down quayside walls, bridge pilings, or any elevated platform where a conventional landing net won't reach. The rope connection is reinforced with a crimped sleeve and protected by heat-shrink tubing, keeping the attachment point strong and damage-free through repeated use.

Rubber Mesh and Weighted Base for Fast, Safe Landings

The rubber-coated mesh is gentle on fish scales and fins, making catch-and-release cleaner and quicker. A Velcro pocket on the base of the net lets you add your own weight so the net sinks fast and stays open as it descends — no fumbling while a fish is still running.
