The 3D Line Thru Sandeel in Sandeel colour delivers lifelike sandeel imitation for saltwater predators. The internal spear design achieves exceptional casting distances even in wind, while the line-thru system keeps hooked fish pinned throughout the fight.

Realistic Escape Behaviour

On steady retrieves, the lure swims in a seductive, slim S-curve with the head slightly raised—just like a fleeing sandeel. Stop the retrieve and it flutters and rolls backwards as if trying to burrow into the sand. Sharp twitches trigger erratic darts and flashes that trigger instinctive strikes from sea trout, bass and other coastal predators.

Line-Thru Rigging Advantage

The line-thru construction prevents fish from using the lure's weight as leverage to throw the hook. The internal spear slides freely on your leader, keeping the lure away from the fish during the fight. Each lure comes rigged with a wide-gape forged single hook (size 4/0) and an SG Y-treble (size 4) in DG Stealth finish, plus glow, UV-red and clear glass beads for customisation. Savage Gear recommends soft fluorocarbon or Finezze mono leaders for best presentation.
