The 3D Line Thru Sandeel replicates the swimming action and escape behavior of natural sandeels with stunning realism. Its unique line-through design and lifelike action make it a proven choice for sea trout and other coastal predators.
This lure swims with a seductive, narrow S-curve with its head slightly raised—exactly like a real sandeel. On the pause, it flutters and rolls backward as if fleeing and trying to bury itself in the sand. Twitch it, and the lure darts erratically with brilliant flashes that trigger aggressive strikes.
The internal line-through system delivers two key advantages: it enables extremely long casts even in windy conditions, and it prevents fish from using the lure's weight as leverage to throw the hook. The result is better presentation and fewer lost fish. Savage Gear recommends using soft fluorocarbon or Finezze mono as your trace material.
