The Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Sandeel in Motor Oil delivers an incredibly realistic sandeel presentation for seatrout and other coastal predators. This 11cm, 15g hard bait combines detailed 3D scanning, proven line-thru rigging, and an ultra-durable ABS body to fool even wary fish in the surf and shallows.
The 3D Line Thru Sandeel swims with a slim s-curve and head-up attitude on a steady retrieve. When you stop the retrieve, the lure flutters and rolls backwards like a fleeing sandeel trying to bury itself in the sand. On the twitch, it darts erratically and flashes—exactly mimicking the escape behavior of natural prey. This versatile action makes it effective across a range of retrieves and conditions.
The internal spear construction enables outstanding casting performance—even in windy coastal conditions. The line-thru system ensures perfect horizontal presentation and prevents fish from using the lure's weight as leverage to throw the hook during the fight. Savage Gear recommends rigging with soft fluorocarbon or Finezze mono for optimal results.
