The Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Sandeel in Blue Silver UV mimics fleeing sandeels with deadly precision. Built on extensive sandeel behavior studies, this 11cm, 15g lure delivers exceptional casting distance and a swim action that triggers aggressive strikes from sea trout, bass, and other coastal hunters.
The lure swims with a seductive, narrow S-curve with the head angled slightly upward—just like a real sandeel. On the pause, it flutters and rolls backward as if trying to bury itself in the sand. A sharp twitch sends it darting erratically with brilliant flashes. The super-strong ABS body features incredible 3D detail, while the internal spear design ensures long casts even in wind. The Blue Silver UV finish adds high visibility and UV attraction in varying light conditions.
The Line Thru (LT) rigging lets the line pass through the lure body, so predators feel only your hook—not the lure's weight. This reduces leverage for the fish and increases landing rates. The system comes complete with a wide-gape forged single hook (size 6) up front and an SG Y-treble (size 3/0) at the rear, both in low-visibility DG Stealth finish. Savage Gear recommends soft fluorocarbon or Finezze mono as trace material for optimal presentation.
